In the middle of the evening and with a burning sun above our heads, today’s photoshoot had a pre-fall mood with this year’s must, the turtle-neck top. Not that wise with that heat. We survived.
I was so excited to find this top, actually by chance, and it was on sale too; I immediately knew this would be my next post. Unfortunately, this piece was from the pre-summer collection and I wasn’t able to find direct links but I’m providing links for many similar turtle neck tops!
I decided to shoot this outfit on a terrace by the sea and add an industrial mood to the scenery. One of my favourite details of this photo shoot, is the visual section that the white background achieves with the white bottom of the outfit and the grey upper. I felt really lucky to have such a bright and plain open air studio for my one-of-my-favourites-to-be outfit!
Although I didn’t have the same opinion during previous summers [I had a hard time excepting anything longer than midi, even mini, in summertime] it is funny actually, how passionate I’m starting to feel about loose, light, long fabrics and pre-fall fashion. Too anxious to get my first jackets, trousers and jeans; and of course more turtle necks!
