For a couple of weeks now, as I was scrolling down my Instagram feed, I felt a sudden and intense enthusiasm for layering. I always considered myself a summer person, however, since I kept searching for jackets and fuzzy coats I realised my subconscious craving for fall!
I purchased this amazing blazer from COS stores in March from Paris, and unfortunately I didn’t have the chances I wanted to enjoy it properly! It was extremely likely that I would grab my chance now!
Although most of the times I find it hard to break the boldness and the sophistication of a total black outfit, I really wanted a neutral, yet strong, base to support it. The strict design of the blazer, and its structure, add a unique and interesting touch to a rather rock outfit, while the vintage burgundy-brown bag [extremely similar to the beautiful Catherine from Céline] keep the total outfit to an everyday-look level. I would also add, that I adore the colour combination of the blazer and bag!
If I were to make a styling resolution for this fall, I would probably say that I’m mostly going for casual trousers and jeans, basic colours that offer mixing ease, perhaps some leggings with interesting patterns to match with my ankle boots; but certainly I’m going to postpone tights [I guess I’m gonna need them sooner or later] and wear trousers, pencil or A line skirts and culottes with different lengths, styling them with warm sweaters, jackets and coats!
