The more I was thinking about this outfit, the more excited I became! The drop of temperature in Paris, combined with the melancholic yet beautiful cloudy days coloured the view in silver shades. The right moment came for my favourite parisian bridge; Bir Hakeim.
In my latest collaboration with TANROH, I decided to wear something different. So much time had passed since I last wore a shirt, let alone a shirt-dress! I actually think I ‘ve never even bought one, so that’s a special reason to be fascinated about TANROH. There is a unique elegance in the design of this piece, the asymmetrical sides, the mirrored cuts on the upper part, all details are carefully made for the greatest outcome.
Although I still sometimes believe that shirts don’t suit me that much, in the combination above, I discovered my style to wear them! In a black and white layering, the TANROH dress may be half hidden, but it actually stands out more through this contrast! The contrast between black and white, tight and loose, is obvious and suggests fresh and modern aesthetics.
In order to highlight these contrasts even more, I added a beautiful grey and silver timepiece from MOCKBERG, right on the point of difference, where black turns into white, of tight turns into flares. You can decide which way!
If you are following my work, you will probably already know about my architectural inspiration and how I always want to focus in geometries, sharp perspectives, unique material and texture combinations in background. Bir Hakeim bridge does all the work for me and includes absolutely everything I would seek for in one incredible structure.
Special thanks to Alexandre Gaudin for his images!
